【摘要】:Coversflexiblemetallichosehavinganominalinsidediameterofnotmorethan4inchesintendedforuseinpipingsystemscarryingcompressedgases,suchasanhydrousammonia,andflammableandcombustiblegasesandliquids,atpressuresnotexceeding500psig(3.45Mpa)andtemperaturesnotgreaterthan450oF(232oC)norlowerthanminus40oF(minus40oC).ThisstandardwasoriginallylistedforpublicreviewintheOctober9,1998issueofStandardsAction.Itisbeingresubmittedduetosubstantivechangesinthetext,whicharelistedhereintheirentirety.1.3.1Flexiblemetalhoseisnotconsideredasubstituteforstandardpipeortubinganditsuseshouldbeconfinedtoapplicationswhereflexibleconnectionscannotbeavoided.Itshouldnotbesubjectedtotorsional,tensile,orexcessivebendingstressesandshouldbeprotectedagainstmechanicalinjury.1.4.1Thisstandarddoesnotapplytoconnectorsusedinnaturalgasprocessingplants,refineries,petrochemicalplants,marineterminalsorgasolineservicestations.2.1.2Acomponentneednotcomplywithaspecificrequirementthat:a)Involvesafeatureorcharacteristicnotneededintheapplicationofthecomponentintheproductcoveredbythisstandard,orb)Issupersededbyarequirementinthisstandard.12.3Theburneristobeconstructedof3/4inchSchedule40ironpipe(StandardforWeldedandSeamlessWroughtSteelPipe,ANSI/ASMEB36.110M-1995)havingastraightlineof1/16inch(1.6mm)drilledports,on2inch(12.7mm)centers,locatedalongthetopforadistanceof8inches(203mm).Agaspressureequalto1inch(25.4mm)watercolumnistobemaintainedinthepipewhengasequivalenttonaturalgashavingapproximately1000Btupercubicfoot(37.3MJ/m3)isemployed.
